2. Website hosting

This website is served as a static site. When you access the site, technical data required for operation may be processed by the hosting provider, including IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser and operating system information and referrer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in operating a stable, secure and functional website.

The site is prepared for deployment on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request and network data to deliver the website securely and reliably.

3. Cookies, tracking and analytics

This landing page does not use cookies for marketing, analytics or tracking purposes. No analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Matomo or Plausible are integrated, and no third-party tracking is used.

4. Fonts, CSS and media

Fonts, CSS and image assets are served locally by this website. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other external font services caused by the landing page.

5. Invite-link fallback page

Ruby Messenger invite links may open a small fallback page if the app is not installed yet. Invite tokens and codes are expected in the URL fragment after the # sign. URL fragments are handled in the browser and are not sent to the server as part of the HTTP request. The fallback page reads the code locally in the browser only to display it to the invited user.

6. App Store and TestFlight

The current landing page only announces Ruby Messenger. Once App Store or TestFlight links are added, opening those links may transfer data to Apple under Apple's own responsibility. The privacy information for the app itself may be updated separately before public release.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Art. 16, erasure under Art. 17, restriction of processing under Art. 18, data portability under Art. 20 and objection under Art. 21. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR.

For security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the https:// in your browser's address bar.
